Lightning Fall to Rams

Box Score The Lehman College women's tennis team returned to action on Tuesday afternoon at Farmingdale State College. Taking on the top team in the Skyline Conference, the Lightning fell 8-1.

Freshman Viola Avdyli won at the top singles spot for Lehman, 6-0, 6-2. The rest of the matches went the way of the Rams, with freshman Effie Pang dropping #4 singles 6-3, 6-1 and freshman Rita Rosario dropping #3 singles 6-1, 6-0. Junior Lemesis Santos fell 6-1, 6-1 at #6 singles.

The Lightning return to action on Saturday at the National Tennis Center against CUNYAC opponent Baruch College. First serve is scheduled for 2:30.
