Box Score New York, N.Y.  – For the second time this season the Lehman College women's soccer team was defeated by CCNY, this time by a 2-0 score, in a non-conference encounter on Wednesday at Randall's Islands soccer fields.  The Lightning fall to a 3-4 overall record, while the Beavers improve to 4-5 mark.

After winning the earlier conference meeting last month (3-1), CCNY dominated Wednesday's encounter limiting Lehman to just a single shot on goal, while hosts posted 19 on target.

Midfielder Charlotte Foberg opened the scoring for the Beavers off an assist from forward Laura Villatoro in 39^th minute-mark.

Midfielder Cassidy Canberg had CCNY second tally in the 66^th minute of the second hald via a penalty kick for the 2-0 final.

Goalkeeper Rebecca Gritz provided the only spark for the Lightning as she had 17 saves in the loss.

Lehman returns to action on Saturday when it welcomes Pratt Institute at South Field with kickoff set for noon.
