The Lehman College women's tennis team returned to action on Saturday afternoon following a week of postponed matches. The Lightning playing on the road fell to CUNYAC rival Brooklyn 7-2.

Viola Avdyli, to win 8-1 at #1 doubles. Avdyli also won at the top singles spot, 6-4, 6-3. The rest of the matches went the way of the Bulldogs, with Rosario dropping #2 singles in three sets, 6-2, 3-6, 10-2. Freshman
Kayla Jolivett battled well at #4 singles, but fell 7-6 (6), 6-4.
The Lightning return to action on Tuesday at Farmingdale State. First serve is scheduled for 4:30.
