Due to Manhattanville only have four players the Lightning and Valiants played an exhibition match in which Manhattanville prevailed 6-3. 

The Lightning were credited with walk over victories at fifth and sixth singles as well as third doubles.

The Lehman doubles pairing of Viola Avdyli and Joanna Rosario dropped their first singles match 8-2.  At second doubles Rita Rosario and Kayla Jolivett also fell 8-2. 

At first singles, Avdyli fell 6-3, 6-0.  Joanna Rosario, playing second singles lost 6-0, 6-0.  Her sister Rita playing in the third hole faltered 6-2, 6-1 and Kyla Jolivett in the four spot dropped a pair of sets at 6-1. 

The Lightning open their home slate on Tuesday, at 4 pm as Sarah Lawrence College invades the APEX Tennis Courts.
