Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's tennis team dropped a 5-4 decision to visiting John Jay College in a CUNYAC match-up at The APEX Courts on Saturday.  The Lightning fall to 0-7 mark and 0-3 in CUNYAC action, while the Bloodhounds improve to 3-6 record and 1-3 on conference play.
 
Viola Aydyl (6-0, 6-1) and Caroline Lopez (6-4, 2-6, 6-4) posted victories for Lehman in their respective first and second singles matches, while also as a pair won the first doubles, 8-1.
 
Effie Pang also claimed victory in fourth singles for the Lightning achieving scores of 6-3, 7-5.
 
Lehman concludes the regular season on Thursday (October 20^th) when it travels to take on Sarah Lawrence College in a non-conference encounter at 5:30 pm ET.
