Box Score Bronxville, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's tennis team posted a 5-4 victory against hosts Sarah Lawrence College in a non-conference match-up on Thursday at SL Courts.  The Lightning improve to a 1-7 overall record, while the Gryphons drop to 2-7 mark.
 
Lehman took two of the three doubles encounters as duos of Effie Pong/Mary Grande and Charlee Stalling/Shelby Gonzalez won their #2 and #3 matches against Sarah Lawrence opponents with scores of 8-7 and 8-3, respectively.
 
Also, Grande defeated Gryphons' Ellie O'Brian, 8-6, in #3 singles action, while Gonzalez took #5 singles, 8-6, over Catherine Whitman.  Stalling claimed the decision encounter for the Lightning (#6 singles) with an 8-2 victory against Mary  DeSouza.
 
Lehman concludes the regular season with a CUNYAC encounter at York College-NY on Friday with the first serve set for 3 pm ET.
