Danbury, Conn. – Despite a career-high 30 points from Mo Idrissou, the Lehman College men's basketball team fell in the opener of Wolves Classic (hosted by Western Connecticut State), 76-72, to Springfield College at the William A. O'Neill Athletic & Convocation Center on Saturday.  The Lightning drop to 0-1 record to commence the season, while the Pride improve to 1-1 mark.

After the first half ended tied at 33, Lehman jumped out to a 51-47 lead seven minutes into the second stanza.  Springfield then went on an 11-0 run to claim a 58-51 advantage and did not trail for the rest of the game for victory.

Idrissou also grabbed nine boards and three steals, while Juan Fernandez notched in 16 points and Will Feldman added 13 points with seven assists for the Lightning.

Lehman will now face Fitchburg State College in the consolation game of the Wolves Classic on Sunday at 1 pm ET, while Springfield will take on the hosts in the championship game afterwards.
