Box Score Danbury, Conn. – A 'double-double' by Will Feldman, 26 points and 10 rebounds, led the Lehman College men's basketball team to a 77-64 victory against Fitchburg State College during the third-place consolation game of Wolves Classic (hosted by Western Connecticut State) on Sunday afternoon at the William A. O'Neil Athletic & Convocation Center. The Lightning improved to a 1-1 record, while the Falcons dropped to a 0-4 mark.
After Lehman took a 39-36 lead at the half, Fitchburg State went on a 17 to 10 run to take a 53-49 advantage midway through the second stanza. The Lightning rebounded and outscored the Falcons 28 to 11 to close out the half and post their first win of the season.
Mo Idrissou also contributed to the Lehman offense notching 20 points with six boards, while Juan Fernandez added 15 points.
The Lightning are back in the state of Connecticut for a pair of non-conference encounters as they take on Mitchell College and U.S. Coast Guard Academy on November 18
th and 19
th, respectively.
