Despite 15 points by Brianna Barnes and 13 points by Mojisola Shokeye the Lightning came out on the short end of a 71-46 decision to the University of St. Joseph in the championship of the Tip-off Tournament.  For her effort Barnes was named to the All-Tournament Team.

The Lightning trailed by four, 20-16 at the end of the first quarter and 33-23 at half.  USJ was in control most of the game having never surrendered the lead and out-rebounded the Lightning 53-31. 

The Lightning return to action Saturday.  Lehman will host Cedar Crest at 12 PM in the APEX in their home opener.
