Men’s Basketball Top St. Joseph’s-LI In OT

Bronx, N.Y. – A three-pointer from guard Will Feldman with 18 seconds remaining in the overtime paced the Lehman College men's basketball team to a 79-77 victory against visiting st. Joseph's University-LI in a non-conference encounter at The APEX Main Gym on Wednesday evening. The Lightning go to a 7-4 overall ledger, while the Golden Eagles fall to a 3-6 record.
 
After trailing at the intermission, Lehman staged a comeback in the second half and tied it at 67 to send the game into overtime. 
 
With 31 seconds remaining in the OT, St. Joseph's-LI hit a pair of free-throws to take a 76-75 lead, however Feldman's three-pointer gave the Lighting a 78-77 advantage.  Forward Mo Idrissou hit a clutch free-throw with four seconds remaining to secure Lehman's triumph.

Forward Isaiah Geathers led the Lightning offense with 24 points and seven rebounds, while Feldman added 18 points, nine assists and seven boards.  Idrissou was also in double-figures in scoring for Lehman as he notched 18, while grabbing eight rebounds.
 
The Lightning will have two-weeks off before they return to action at The APEX Main Gym to close out 2022 when they square off against Manhattanville College in a non-conference match-up on December 29th with tip-off set for 5 pm ET.
