Bronx, N.Y. – Despite 23 points from forward
Isaiah Geathers, the hosts Lehman College men's basketball team dropped a heartbreaking 76-75 decision to Centenary University-NJ in a non-conference game on Wednesday at The APEX Main Gym. The Lightning fall to a 6-3 overall record, while the Cyclones improved to a 4-2 mark.
After Lehman jumped to an early five-point lead (7-2) three minutes into the first half, Centenary went on a 38 to 27 run to take a six-point advantage (40-34) going into the intermission.
In the second stanza, the Lightning posted a comeback and went on a 34 to 23 run to once again take a five-point lead (68-63) with five minutes left to play. Then, Cyclones went on to outscore the home side 13 to 7, including the game-winning jumper by forward Billy Veras to make in 76-75, with less than a second remaining. Mo Idrissou's three-pointer did not count as time expired.

Will Feldman notched 19 points for the Lightning, while Idrissou and teammate
Juan Fernandez each added seven points each.
Lehman will be in action this coming Saturday (December 10
th) when it travels to Clinton, N.Y. to take on Hamilton College in a non-conference match-up with tip-off set for 1 pm ET.
