Playing their fourth game in six days, the Lightning came up short at York 76-66. The loss halts the Lighting winning streak at five games and leave Lehman with a 16-3 mark and a 9-2 record in the CUNYAC. York improves to 8-9:6-3.
The game was a back-and-forth affair the first 15 minutes of the contest. With the Lightning leading 23-22, the Cardinals 16-0 over a four-minute span to take control before settling on a 38-30 lead at halftime. In the second half, York was able to keep Lehman at bay.
The Lightning had three players in double figures.
Gian Batista led the way with 19 points.
Isaiah Geathers netted 11 while
Juan Fernandez chipped in 10 points.
The Lightning return to action on Wednesday night as they travel to Manhattan to face John Jay at 8 PM.
