Bronx, N.Y – The Lehman College softball team will officially commence its season as it hosts non-conference twin-bill against College of Mount St. Vincent on Friday, 3:00 PM at South Field.  Fans can follow all the action via live stream.

The Lightning (0-0), under the helm of Melissa Torres, will take the field for the first time since 2020.

Meanwhile, the Dolphins (1-3) are coming off a non-conference twin-bill split at Hunter College on Wednesday.  After losing the opener 6-4, the Mount St. Vincent took the nightcap, 8-7.

The Dolphins have won the last 10 encounters against the Lightning since 2013.  The last time both teams faced off was on April 17, 2019 with Mount St. Vincent sweeping a doubleheader against hosts Lehman, 9-0, 15-3, respectively.
