New York, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's volleyball concluded the regular season as it dropped three-set CUNYAC match (14-25, 18-25, 15-25) to hosts Baruch College on Thursday evening at Arc Arena. The Lightning fall to 7-14 overall record and 3-9 in CUNYAC, while the Bearcats improve to 13-10 mark and 11-1 in conference play.
After losing the first set, Lehman took an early 5-4 lead in the second game. However, Baruch went on a 21 to 13 run to win the second set and then claimed the third game to win the match.
Ray Rodriguez led the Lightning offense with nine kills and 13 digs, while
Miguel Gonzalez added six kills with seven digs and
Christian Agudo dished out 15 assists.
Lehman will be in CUNYAC postseason action, for the first time since 2018, next Tuesday as it will be on the road against a yet to be determined opponent once the regular season standings commence this weekend.
