Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College softball team hosts John Jay College in a CUNYAC doubleheader at South Field on Monday with first pitch scheduled for 4 pm ET.  Fans can also follow all the action via live stream.

The Lightning (8-8; 6-6 CUNYAC) are coming off a conference twin-bill sweep by visiting Baruch College over the weekend.  After losing the first game 19-0, Lehman couldn't hold a six-run lead and dropped a heartbreaker, 7-6, in the nightcap.

Meanwhile, the John Jay Bloodhounds (9-17; 6-6 CUNYAC) dropped a pair of non-conference encounters at Rutgers-Newark last Thursday, by scores of 8-0 and 5-1, respectively.

John Jay holds a 36-21 advantage in the head-to-head meetings against Lehman going back to 1992.  However, the Lightning have won six of the last eight encounters.  The last time both sides faced off was on May 3, 2019, during the CUNYAC Championships in Staten Island, N.Y. as the Bloodhounds held on to a 3-2 victory.
