Radnor, Pa. – In his first collegiate game, forward
Phillip Osei notched the equalizer for Lehman College men's soccer team for the 1-1 road tie against non-conference rival Cabrini University at Edith Robb Dixon Field on Saturday. The Lightning go to 0-1-1 overall record, while the Cavaliers drop to 0-2-2 mark.
Cabrini took the lead six minutes before halftime with a tally from midfielder Calvin Rolland. However, Osei scored for the Lightning in the 61
st minute of the second stanza off an assist from midfielder
Bright Takyi.
Lehman held on for the draw despite playing the remining 17 minutes of the game with 10 players following the red card ejection of defender Keving Umanzor.
The Lightning continue their road swing tomorrow (Sunday) when they take on Eastern University in St. Davis, Pa. at 3 pm ET.
