Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's volleyball team dropped a three-set non-conference match (8-25, 13-25, 8-25) to visiting St. Joseph's College-LI at The APEX Main Gym on Monday evening. The Lightning drop to a 1-5 overall record, while the Golden Eagles improve to a 6-5 mark.
After dropping the first set, Lehman only trailed by three (14-11) mid-way through the second game. However, St. Joseph's-LI went on a 11-2 run to take the second set and then claimed the third for the victory.

Daria Hernandez led the Lightning offense with seven kills, while teammate
Selena Mitchell added three kills and nine digs. Setter
Heder Rodriguez dished out 13 assists and grabbed six digs for Lehman.
The Lightning travel to Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania this Saturday (October 1
st) when it competes in a non-conference tri-match against Immaculata University and hosts King's College.
