Box Score 2 Wilkes-Barre, Pa. – The Lehman College women's volleyball team dropped consecutive matches to Immaculata University and hosts King's College-PA at Scandlon Gym on Saturday.
The Lightning (1-8) dropped the first match in three sets (20-25, 9-25, 7-25) to Immaculata Macs (5-4). Lehman jumped out to an early 3-1 lead in the opening set; however, Immaculata went on a 24-17 run to claim the set and then never trailed in the next two to capture the match.
Andrea Alarcon led the Lightning offense with six kills and digs, while Daira Hernandez added three kill and four digs. Also,
Heder Rodriguez dished out 10 assists and grabbed four digs.
In the second encounter, Lehman also lost in three sets (7-25, 14-25, 6-25) to King's-PA Monarchs (11-4). Hernandez notched three kills, while Rodriguez had two kills, eight digs and five assists for the Lightning.
Lehman continues its road swing in Pennsylvania on Tuesday (October 4
th) when it visits University of Valley Forge in Phoenixville with the first serve set for 6 pm ET.
