New York, N.Y.  – Forward Brianna Barnes scored 29 points with nine rebounds and five steals to lead the Lehman College women's basketball team to a 74-49 victory against hosts CCNY in CUNYAC conference encounter on Tuesday at Nat Holman Gym. The Lightning improved to a 5-7 overall record and 1-1 CUNYAC action, while the Beavers dropped to a 2-10 mark and 0-2 in conference play.
 
Lehman jumped to a 27-6 lead in the first quarter and never trailed since as it went on to post its first triumph in conference play.
 
Forward Kryshana Levy notched a career-high 20 points, while teammate Barbara Valentin added 15 points and Ramatoulaye "Rama" Diallo had six points with a Lightning-best 12 rebounds.
 
Lehman returns to action on Friday (January 6^th) as it welcomes Hunter College in CUNYAC action at The APEX Main Gym with tip-off set for 7 pm ET.
