Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's soccer team dropped a heartbreaking 1-0 decision to visiting Brooklyn College during the CUNYAC Championship Semifinals on Saturday at South Field.  The Lightning go to a 7-6 overall record, while the Bulldogs advanced to the conference title game with a 6-8-1 mark.

Brooklyn got the only goal of the match in the 16^th minute-mark as forward Rayan Vukovic's shot found the back of the net off an assist from midfielder Bradlej Cupi.

Lehman looked for the equalizer for the remaining of the encounter as it outshot the visitors 15 to 12.

The Lightning almost forced the overtime period with less than 30 seconds remaining, however forward Phillip Osei freekick shot from just outside the 18-yard box was saved by Bulldogs goalkeeper Carl-Henry Obeissant.

Lehman now awaits a possible postseason bid to the ECAC.
