Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's basketball team dropped a 91-58 non-conference encounter to visiting Hope College on Friday at The APEX Main Gym.  The Lightning go to a 4-6 overall record, while the Flying Dutch improved to an 8-3 mark.

After Lehman held the visiting side to a tied score (8-8) four minutes into the first half, Hope went on a 47 to 21 run to take a 26-point lead at the intermission.  The Flying Dutch then outscored the Lightning 36 to 29 in the second stanza for the victory.

Forward Kai Parris scored 13 points with seven rebounds for Lehman, while center Manuel DeAundre added 10 points.

The Lightning return to action in 2024 when they hosts CCNY in a CUNYAC encounter on January 3rd at The APEX Main Gym with tip-off set for 7 pm ET.
