Box Score Bronx, N.Y. - The Lehman College men's basketball team posted a 79-70 overtime victory against visiting CCNY, in a conference encounter, on Wednesday evening at The APEX Main Gym. The Lightning improved to a 5-6 overall record and 2-0 in CUNYAC action, while the Beavers go to an 8-5 mark and 1-1 in conference play.
After Lehman had a 28-21 advantage at the intermission, CCNY came back and took a seven-point lead (61-54) with just over two minutes remaining in the encounter. The Lightning went on a 9 to 2 run to cut the Beavers advantage to two points (63-61) with 21 seconds remaining. Lehman guard
Elijah Avilla hit a jumper just as the clock expired to send the game into overtime (63-63).
In the overtime, the Lightning outscored the Beavers 16 to 7 for the victory.

DeAundre Manuel led the Lehman offense with 22 points and grabbed 15 rebounds for the 'double-double.' Teammate
Kai Parris also had a 'double-double' as he notched 20 points with 11 boards, while guard
Jayden Stephens added 13 points and six rebounds.
The Lightning continue CUNYAC action on Friday (January 5th) when they travel to take on Brooklyn College at 7:15 pm ET.
