Madison, N.J. – Once again forward Ramatoulaye "Rama" Diallo scored a career-high 38 points, however the Lehman College women's basketball team dropped its seventh consecutive game of the season after an 83-64 loss to hosts FDU-Florham, in a non-conference match-up, on Wednesday evening at Ferguson Recreation Center. The Lightning go to an 0-7 mark, while the Devils improved to a 3-3 record.
After trailing by 22 points (52-30) at the intermission, Lehman attempted to cut FDU-Florham lead in the second stanza by outscoring them 34 to 31, however the hosts held on for the victory.
Along with her second 30+ point game of the season, Diallo grabbed nine rebounds and five steals for the Lightning. Center Myandra "Meme" Duquesnay added 13 points with eight boards.
Lehman returns to action on Saturday (December 9th) as it hosts Gallaudet University in a non-conference encounter at The APEX Main Gym with tip-off set for noon.
