Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's volleyball team fell in three sets (21-25, 18-25, 17-25) to visiting CCNY in a CUNYAC encounter on Thursday evening at The APEX Main Gym. The Lightning drop to a 2-4 overall record and 0-1 in CUNYAC action, while the Beavers improve to a 5-0 mark and 1-0 in conference play.
After losing the first two games, Lehman took a 5-0 lead early in the third, however CCNY went on a 25 to 12 run to take the set and the match.
Ray Rodriguez led the way for the Lightning with a 'double-double' as he had 10 kills and 11 digs, while
Miguel Gonzalez added 14 digs and four kills.
Christian Agudo dished out 20 assists with three service aces.
Lehman continues CUNYAC action next Tuesday (February 21
st) as it travels to face Medgar Evers College with the first serve set for 7 pm ET.
