Bronx, N.Y. – For a second consecutive year, the Lehman College men's basketball team will compete for the CUNYAC Championship Trophy after it defeated visiting CCNY, 85-70, in semifinal encounter on Tuesday evening at The APEX Main Gym. The Lightning go to an 18-8 overall record, while Beavers end their campaign with a 17-10 mark.
After CCNY took an early 3-2 lead, Lehman went on a 23 to 10 run to take a 12-point advantage in 11:22 mark of opening half and never looked back.
The Lightning shot 44 percent from the field, while the Beavers struggled with 39%.

Isaiah Geathers played all 40 minutes of the game as he scored 26 points, with six rebounds and two block shots for his final game wearing the Lehman jersey at The APEX. Also, in his final encounter in the Bronx for the Lightning, guard
Will Feldman had 19 points and five rebounds.
Lehman will compete in Friday's CUNYAC Championship Final at Nat Holman Gym in Manhattan as it aims to dethrone defending conference champion Baruch College.
The CUNYAC Champion will also earn the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
