Box Score New York, N.Y. – For a second consecutive year the Lehman College men's basketball team dropped a heartbreaking overtime CUNYAC Championships Final, 83-82, to Baruch College on Friday evening at CCNY's Nat Holman Gymnasium. The Lightning concluded the season with a 18-9 overall record, while the Bearcats go to 22-5 ledger and advanced to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
After Baruch took a 37-28 lead at the intermission, Lehman battled back in the second half and trailed 72-67 with 22 seconds remaining. Lightning's forward
Jayden Stephens hit a three-pointer with 18 seconds remaining to cut the Bearcats advantage to two (72-70).
Following a missed one-and-one free-throw by Baruch, Stephens made a lay-up with six ticks left for Lehman to tie the score (72-72) and send it to overtime.

Lasana Camara hit consecutive free-throws to give the Lightning an 82-81 lead with 16 seconds remaining in the extra period, however the Bearcats took the lead 12 seconds later.
As the clock hit zero, Stephens attempted another three-pointer for Lehman but missed as Baruch held on for the victory.

Mo Idrissou led the offense for the Lightning with 17 points, while Camara and guard
Juan Fernandez had 12 points each.
