Montclair, N.J. – The Lehman College baseball team lost a non-conference encounter, 25-0, to hosts Montclair State University on Tuesday at Yogi Berra Stadium. The Lightning fall to an 0-8 overall record, while the Red Hawks improved to 7-1 mark.
Leading 9-0, Montclair State added 16 runs in the next three innings and held Lehman to just four hits in the seven-inning game.
Highlights for the Lightning was infielder Ranssel Pinedo who went one-for-three at bat to extend his hitting streak this season to five consecutive games. The other Lehman hits came from outfielder Glennd Jarrin, infielder Nomar Rijo and designated hitter Justin Nunez.
The Lightning continue their road swing on Wednesday (March 22nd) when they visit Rutgers-Newark at 4 pm ET.
