Bronx, N.Y. – Despite a 'double-double' (20 assists, 10 digs) by
Christian Agudo, the Lehman College men's volleyball team fell in three sets (21-25, 19-25, 17-25) to visiting John Jay College, in a CUNYAC encounter, at The APEX Main Gym on Tuesday evening. The Lightning go to a 10-9 overall record and 4-6 in CUNYAC action, while the Bloodhounds improved to a 13-7 mark and 6-3 in conference play.
Lehman held its own in the first set and had 16-15 lead, however, John Jay went on a 10 to 5 run to take the set. The Bloodhounds then two the next two sets to claim the match.
Ray Rodriguez had eight kills for the Lightning, while
Miguel Gonzalez notched seven kills and
Emmanuel Oladosu added six.
Lehman continues CUNYAC action on Thursday (March 23
rd) when it travels to take on Brooklyn College at 6 pm ET.
