Brooklyn, N.Y. – Despite a 'double-double' by
Miguel Gonzalez (16 kills, 11 digs) the Lehman College men's volleyball team fell 3-1 (18-25, 27-29, 25-22, 16-22) to hosts Brooklyn College in a CUNYAC encounter on Thursday evening at West Quad Center Gymnasium. The Lightning drop to a 10-10 overall record and 4-7 in CUNYAC action, while the Bulldogs go to 7-12 mark and 3-7 in conference play.
After dropping the first two sets, Lehman came back to take the third, however Brooklyn won the fourth set to claim the match. It's the Lightning fourth consecutive loss in conference action.
Ray Rodriguez had eight kills and 14 digs for Lehman, while
Christian Agudo dished out 36 assists and grabbed seven digs.
The Lightning return to action this Saturday (March 25th) when they host a non-conference tri-match against Drew University and Eastern University with the first serve set for 10 am ET.
