Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's volleyball team dropped two non-conference matches during a home tri-meet both in three sets each against Drew University (13-25, 10-25, 16-25) and Eastern University (18-25, 18-25, 19-25) at The APEX Main Gym on Saturday. 
 
After losing the first two sets to Drew Rangers (8-16) the tri-meet opener, the Lightning (10-12) had a 5-4 lead in the third.  However, the Rangers went on a 21 to 11 run to win the set and the match.  Ray Rodriguez led the offense for Lehman with four kills and nine digs.
 
After the Eastern Eagles (9-11) topped the Rangers, 3-1, the Eagles took the first two games of the match over the Lightning in the nightcap.  Lehman, then held a 4-0 lead early in the third, however, Eastern outscored the hosts 25 to 15 to win the encounter.  Rodriguez once again paced Lehman with six kills, while Christian Agudo dished out 12 assists while hitting five kills.
 
The Lightning will look to end their six-match losing streak when they hosts Hunter College in a CUNYAC encounter on Tuesday (March 28^th) at The APEX Main Gym with first serve set for 6 pm ET.
