Bronx, N.Y. – Another 'double-double' by
Ray Rodriguez (15 kills, 16 digs) paced the hosts Lehman College men's volleyball team to three-set triumph (25-17, 25-20, 25-15) against Pratt Institute in a non-conference match at The APEX Main Gym on Saturday afternoon. The Lightning go to an 8-5 overall record, while the Cannoneers fall to a 1-9 mark.
After the score was tied 8-8 in the first game, Lehman went on a 17 to 9 run to win the set and then took the next two to claim the match. The eighth victory by the Lightning was also the most since the 2018 campaign.
Andrew Figueroa and
Miguel Gonzalez also added to the Lehman offense with eight kills each, while
Emmanuel Oladosu notched five kills and
Christian Agudo dished out 30 assists.
The Lightning will travel to Hunter College for a CUNYAC match-up next Tuesday (March 7th) at 6 pm ET.
