New York, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's volleyball team's five match winning streak came to an end on Tuesday evening it fell in three sets (9-25, 12-25, 15-25) to host Hunter College in a CUNYAC encounter at Sportsplex. The Lightning dropped to an 8-6 overall ledger and 2-3 in CUNYAC action, while the Hawks improved to a 5-5 mark and 3-0 in conference play.
After dropping the first two sets, Lehman took a 6-5 lead in the third. However, Hunter went on a 20 to 9 run to win the set and the match.
Miguel Gonzalez led the way for the Lightning with six kills and seven digs, while
Ray Rodriguez added five kills.
Christian Agudo dished out 13 assists and grabbed eight digs.
Lehman continues CUNYAC play on Thursday (March 9
th) when it welcomes York College-NY at The APEX Main Gym with first serve set for 7 pm ET.
