Despite a trio of home runs from Lehman, the Lightning came out on the short side of a 34-7 defeat to the Dolphins of the CMSV.  The loss gives Lehman a 3-14 record going into the weekend series with Baruch.  CMSV improves to 14-8.
 
Lehman scored a pair of runs in the home half of the first after blanking the Dolphins to start the game.  Lehman's second batter Javaun Smith parked a ball over the fence in left to give the Lightning a 1-0 lead.  Lehman then strung the singles together off the bats of Nomar Rijo, Eli Ferman and Ransell Pinedo before Justin Nunez drew a two-out walk to plate Rijo.  However, the Dolphins would score multiple runs in every inning cursing to victory.  Fermin went yard in the third and in the fourth the Lightning got a pair of doubles by Nunez and Smith for their fourth run of the contest.  In the home seventh Frederick dela Rosa and Pinedo reached on walks and then Jeremmy Santos belted a homer down the right field line for Lehman's final offensive out burst of the afternoon. 
 
The Lightning return to action on Saturday afternoon, hosting Baruch in a 1 PM doubleheader with conference supremacy on the line.  Both teams come into the twin bill with a CUNYAC leading 31 record.
