The Lightning and Bloodhounds resumed a contest from two weeks ago that was cut short because of Thunderstorms.  The game started in Trenton, NJ back on April 22 and was halted due to weather in the third inning with the Bloodhounds leading 7-5.  John Jay went on to win the game 10-5. 

The Lightning manufactured a pair of runs in the first on a pair of walks and double by Nomar Rijo and a sac fly.  John Jay answered right back with a pair of runs on two hits as well.  Lehman plated two more runs in the top of second.  Justin Nunez led off the frame with a walk and scored on a Frederick Dela ROsa double to left field.  After a sacrifice bunt and a ground out the Lightning owned a 4-2 advantage.  In the third the Lightning added another run after Eli Fermin singled to center and was driven in by Ranssel Pinedo's double.  The rain started in the third as the Bloodhounds scored five times before the game was suspended. 

THe contest resumed this afternoon on the South Field.  John Jay added two more runs in the third before Lehman recorded the third out.  The Bloodhounds added an insurance run in the sixth for the final margin of victory. 

The Lightning conclude the regular season on Firday afternoon as they take on Baruch in a 12 PM doubleheader at Bronx CC.
