Softball player Lizbeth Perez has been named the CUNYAC Softball Player of the Week for the week ending May 7, 2023.
 
In six games, the junior led the Lightning to a 4-2 week.  The St. Raymond graduate was credited with 11 hits in 20 at-bats for a weekly batting average of .550.  The Bronx native scored 12 runs, had 6 doubles and 3 home runs.  She was also a perfect 10-10 in stolen bases.
