Danbury, Conn. – The Lehman College men's soccer team fell by a score of 4-0 to the hosts Western Connecticut State, in a non-conference encounter, on Thursday evening at The Westside Athletic Complex. The Lightning drop to a 1-4 overall ledger, while the Wolves improve to a 4-1-2 mark.
Two goals by Western Connecticut forward Adrian Nunez and one from midfielder Kadin Talho gave Lehman a three-goal deficit going into the intermission. Midfielder Simon Osorio closed out the scoring for the Wolves with a tally early in the second half.
The highlight for the Lightning were goalkeepers
Daniel Morales and
Andres Barajas as they each played 45 minutes and posted six and two saves, respectively.
Lehman continues its road swing on Sunday (September 24th) when it travels to take on College at Old Westbury, in a non-conference encounter, at 1 pm ET.
