Melanie Siranaula scored four goals to lead the Lehman College women's soccer team to a 10-1 victory against the hosts York College-NY, in a non-conference encounter, on Thursday, at Roy Wilkins Park. The Lightning go to a 1-4-1 record, while the Cardinals dropped to a 0-5 mark.

Barbara Meda notched her second goal of the game in the 31st minute of the first half. Then, Siranaula notched three consecutive tallies for her hat-trick just before the end of the opening 45 minutes.
In the second stanza, forward
Maria Martinez scored in the 52nd minute for the Lightning, while Siranaula got her fourth goal of the game two minutes later.
After midfielder
Esmeralda Santos Valencia's tally made it 8-1 in favor in the 59th minute-mark, Ramatoulaye Diallo, who made a couple of saves as goalkeeper earlier in the game, scored twice in the final 10 minutes for the victory, that the Lightning's 10-game winless streak.
Lehman returns to action on Monday (October 2nd) when it hosts New Jersey City University, in a non-conference match-up, at South Field with kickoff set for 5 pm ET.
