Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's swimming and diving team dropped its home season finale to CUNYAC rival John Jay College, 104-64, at The APEX Pool on Tuesday evening. The Lightning go to a 2-7 overall record and 0-4 in CUNYAC play, while the Bloodhounds improved to a 4-4 mark and 3-2 in conference action.
Arlene Suzana led the way for Lehman as she won the 200 and 500 Freestyle events with times of 2:16.78 and 6:25.94, respectively.
Ofelia Valadez also claimed gold for the Lightning on Tuesday in the 100 Breaststroke as she clocked in a 1:28.10, while
Danelli Lora took first-place honor in the 1 Meter Diving (147.45).
Lehman continues CUNYAC action on Thursday (January 18
th) when both men's and women's sides travel to take on York College-NY with the first event set for 6 pm ET.
