Juan Fernandez hit to clutch free-throws with three seconds remaining as the Lehman College men's basketball won its sixth consecutive game, on Wednesday evening, after defeating visiting Hunter College, 67-63, in a CUNYAC match-up at The APEX Main Gym. The Lightning go to a 10-6 overall ledger and a perfect 6-0 in CUNYAC play, while the Hawks fall to a 6-11 mark and 3-3 in conference action.
After trailing a single point (30-29) at the intermission, Lehman outscored Hunter 36 to 33 to take a two-point advantage with less than a minute remaining the encounter. After the Hawks' tying jumper was blocked by Lightning forward
Lasana Camara five seconds remaining, forcing the visitors to foul and put Fernandez on the free-throw line. Fernandez finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds for a 'double-double.'

Kai Parris led the offense for the Lightning notching 26 points and seven rebounds, while guard
Cameron Burns added nine points.
Lehman will be back in action on Saturday (January 20
th) when it travels to Manhattan for a battle of undefeated CUNYAC sides as it takes on Baruch College with tip-off set for 4 pm ET.
