After trailing a single point (30-29) at the intermission, Lehman outscored Hunter 36 to 33 to take a two-point advantage with less than a minute remaining the encounter.  After the Hawks' tying jumper was blocked by Lightning forward Lasana Camara five seconds remaining, forcing the visitors to foul and put Fernandez on the free-throw line.  Fernandez finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds for a 'double-double.'

Forward Kai Parris led the offense for the Lightning notching 26 points and seven rebounds, while guard Cameron Burns added nine points.
