New York, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's basketball team fell by a score of 82-54 to hosts Baruch College in a CUNYAC encounter at ARC Arena on Saturday. The Lightning go to a 10-7 overall record and 6-1 in CUNYAC action, while the Bearcats improved to an 11-7 mark and 7-0 conference play.
After Lehman trailed at the end of the intermission (43-21), Baruch went on a 39 to 33 run in the second stanza for the victory as it takes over first place in the CUNYAC standings.
Guard
Jayden Stephens led the offense for the Lightning with 14 points, six rebounds and four assists, while teammate
Elijah Avilla added 13 points.
Lehman continues CUNYAC action next Tuesday (January 23rd) when it travels to Manhattan to take on CCNY at 7 pm ET.
