Kai Parris wasn't enough as the Lehman College men's basketball dropped a heartbreaking 63-61 CUNYAC encounter against hosts CCNY at Nat Holman Gymnasium on Tuesday evening. The Lightning go a 10-8 overall record and 6-2 in CUNYAC action, while the Beavers improved to a 12-7 mark and 5-3 in conference play.
After Lehman took a one-point lead at the intermission (35-34), CCNY came back in the second stanza and went on a 26 to 19 run to take a six-point advantage (60-54) with three minutes remaining. The Lightning stage their own come back with a 7 to 2 run to cut the Beavers' lead to 62-61 with 47 seconds left in the game.
