DeAundre Manuel notched a 'double-double' with 25 points and 16 rebounds to lead the Lehman College men's basketball team to an 80-55 victory against visiting Gallaudet University, in a non-conference affair, on Saturday at The APEX Main Gym. The Lightning go to a 12-8 overall ledger, while the Bisons drop to a 2-18 mark.
After trailing 33-30 at the intermission, Lehman went on a 30 to 7 run to start the second half and pull away for its second consecutive victory.
Guard
Juan Fernandez scored 16 points on Saturday for the Lightning, while teammate
Cameron Burns had his second consecutive 'double-double' game as he added 10 points and 10 assists.
Lehman returns to CUNYAC action next Tuesday (January 30th) when it travels to Brooklyn to take on Medgar Evers College with tip-off set for 8 pm ET.
