Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's soccer team posted a key 1-0 CUNYAC victory against visiting Hunter College on Monday at South Field.  The Lightning go to a 4-6-1 overall record and 2-0-2 in conference play, while the Hawks dropped to a 3-8-1 mark and 1-3-0 in CUNYAC action.

Despite Lehman outshooting Hunter 16 to 6 during the first 80 minutes of the game, it remained scoreless, until seven minutes later, when Lightning forward Alexander Agyemang notched the eventual game-winner off a double-assist from defender Nhlakanipho Linda and midfielder Cameron Dennis.

Lehman goalkeeper Andres Barajas made four saves for his fifth shutout of the season.  

The victory places the Lightning (2-0-2) in third place in the CUNYAC Standings behind Baruch College (3-0-1) and CCNY (3-0-1).

Lehman will look to remain unbeaten in CUNYAC play when it hosts York College-NY on Wednesday (October 16th) at South Field at 7 pm ET.
