Box Score A month ago, Lehman and Brooklyn were battling on the Roosevelt Tennis Courts on the Brooklyn campus.  However after multiple rain delays and darkness the teams were forced to abandon the match with the Bulldogs on top 4-3 with two matches remaining.

Those two matches were concluded this afternoon with the Lightning and Bulldogs splitting the final matches to prevail 5-4. 

Elizabeth Nlemchukwu was trailing 7-5, 2-1 coming into today and was unable to make the come back, falling 7-5, 6-2..  Amya Sanchez was winning 7-5, 1-0 when her match was halted.  SHe was able to close out the second set winning 6-3 in the second set to secure the Lightning a point from the fifth singles slot. 

Despite the loss, the Lightning secure the fourth seed in the upcoming CUNYAC Tennis Championship which gets underway next Tuesday afternoon.
