Bronx, N.Y. – For a second consecutive year, the Lehman College men's soccer team claimed the CUNYAC Conference Regular Season Crown after posting a 2-1 triumph over visiting Baruch College on Wednesday evening at South Field. The Lightning ended the regular season with a 7-6-2 overall record and the number one seed in the upcoming conference playoff tournament with a 5-0-2 mark.
Lehman finished level in record (5-0-2) with CCNY in the CUNYAC Standings and, after the first tiebreaker, head-to-head (0-0). However, the Lightning claimed the top spot in the conference after the following tiebreaker of head-to-head record against the third-place team, Baruch (5-6-3; 4-1-2 CUNYAC).
Forward
Alexander Agyemang opened the scoring for Lehman in the 16th minute-mark off a double-assist from teammate
Mohamed Ali Sogoba and midfielder
Brandon Dennis.
Baruch notched the equalizer in the 71st minute off a tally from midfielder Mitchel Frenkel.
Midfielder

Lehman will rest up for several days before it opens CUNYAC Post-Season Tournament when it hosts a semifinal encounter, at South Field, against the winner of next Wednesday's (October 30th) Brooklyn College-John Jay College opening round game, on November 2nd.
