Kai Parris notched a 'double-double' (27 points, 16 rebounds) to lead the Lehman College men's basketball team to an 82-73 victory against University of Mount St. Vincent, in a non-conference game, on Wednesday evening, at The APEX Main Gym. The Lightning go to a 2-1 overall record, while the Dolphins dropped to an 0-2 mark.
After Lehman took a 43-29 lead at the intermission, Mount St. Vincent went on a 35 to 27 run to cut the hosts advantage to a six points (70-64) with 3:09 remaining in the game. Then, Lightning went on a run of their own (12 to 9) to hold on for the victory.
Along with Parris scoring, guard
Kofi Mends had 15 points with nine rebounds for Lehman, while forward
Lasana Camara notched 12 points and teammate
Kunal Bagga had 10 points.
The Lightning are back in action on Saturday (November 16th) when they travel to take on Purchase College, in a non-conference encounter, at noon.
