Rochester, N.Y. – A 'double-double' (24 points, 16 rebounds) by forward
Kai Parris led the Lehman College men's basketball team to a 77-73 overtime victory against Fitchburg State during the consolation game of the Harold J. Brodie Classic, hosted by Rochester Institute of Technology, at the Clark Memorial Gymnasium on Saturday. The Lightning go to a 1-1 overall record, while the Falcons dropped to a 0-2 mark.
Lehman took a five-point lead into the intermission; however, Fitchburg staged a comeback in the second stanza to tie the game and send it into overtime. During the extra period, the Lightning outscored the Falcons 12 to 8 for the win.

Brandon Marks added to the Lehman offense on Saturday with 17 points, while teammate
Lasana Camara had eight points and 19 boards. Guard
Kofi Mends also scored eight points.
The Lightning are back in action next Wednesday (November 13th) when they face non-conference rival University of Mount Saint Vincent in their season home opener at The APEX Main Gym with tip-off set for 7 pm ET.
