Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's volleyball team dropped a three-set CUNYAC match (15-25, 19-25, 18-25) to visiting John Jay College on Thursday evening at The APEX Main Gym. The Lightning go to a 2-5 overall record and 0-1 in CUNYAC play, while the Bloodhounds improved to a 5-1 mark and 2-0 in conference action.
After dropping the first two sets, Lehman took a 7-4 lead early in set number three. However, John Jay went on a 21 to 11 run to win the set and the match.
Ray Rodriguez led the way for the Lightning with five kills and
Neithan Pilay added four kills, while
Christian Agudo posted a 'double-double' as he dished out 12 assists and grabbed 14 digs.
Lehman is back in action on Saturday (February 17
th) when it welcomes Neumann University in a non-conference match-up at The APEX Main Gym with first serve set for noon.
