Wilkes-Barre, Pa. – The Lehman College men's volleyball team dropped two non-conference matches by 3-0 score to Mount Aloysius College (16-25, 12-25, 12-25) and hosts Wilkes University (16-25, 19-25, 20-25) at the Marts Center on Saturday.
After losing the first two sets to the home side Wilkes, Lehman (2-7) jumped out to an early 3-2 lead in the third set. However, Wilkes went on a 23 to 16 run to win the set and the match.

Amir Pepic and
Ray Rodriguez all had five kills each for the Lightning, while
Chris Mata dished out nine assists.
In the nightcap, it was 1-1 early in first set, however, Mount Aloysius outscored Lehman 24 to 15 to take the set. The Lightning then dropped the next two sets to lose the match. Rodriguez notched five kills with six digs, while
Andrew Figueroa and Pepic hit four kills each. Mata also had 14 assists.
Lehman returns to CUNYAC action next Tuesday (February 27th) when it travels to face Medgar Evers College with first serve set for 7 pm ET.
