New York, N.Y. – For a third consecutive year the Lehman College men's basketball team will compete in CUNYAC Championship Final after defeating the hosts CCNY, 69-64, in the semifinals on Wednesday evening at the Nat Holman Gymnasium. The Lightning go to an 18-9 overall record, while the Beavers fall to an 18-8 mark.
After holding on to a slim 39-38 lead at the end of the first half, Lehman held off any possible comeback by CCNY as it finished outscoring the hosts 30-26 in the second stanza for the victory.

Kai Parris led the Lightning offense with a 'double-double' notching 18 points and 13 rebounds, while center
Amar Ndiaye also registered 'double-double' with career-high 15 points and 16 boards. Guard
Cameron Burns added 12 points and eight assists, while forward
Lasana Camara had 10 points.
Lehman will face the regular season and defending CUNYAC Champion Baruch College in the final on Friday (February 23rd) at the ARC Arena with tip-off set for 8:30 pm ET. The CUNYAC Champions will also earn a berth to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
